Lorenzo Giglioli

Lorenzo Giglioli

Lorenzo Giglioli was born in Pisa in 1974. Having definitively abandoned his engineering studies to dedicate himself entirely to cooking, Lorenzo plunged into a "crazy and desperate" study-work process, gradually absorbing the lessons of the Masters through books, courses, internships and work seasons. He travels a lot and also professionally knows great heroes such as Igles Corelli and Aimo Moroni, but always remembers the fundamental experience with the Pisan chef Gabriella Bati and the dear friend patron of the infamous Aphrodite. Having chosen the path of freelance work, he was discovered by the manager of Colavita USA for Florida Ursula Avella, who took him around the States, involving him in the ambitious project of disseminating Italian culinary culture (especially with regional bases) in America. For almost two years he has been a consultant and collaborator for the Federico Salza Catering group, an international leader in the top events sector... there have been numerous requests to participate in his cooking courses, where the chef has always aimed to convey more than providing recipes his passion possible.

He currently holds the role of Chef at the Fiaskona Restaurant in Bergamo.
