Rai1’s morning program was enriched once again by the presence of chef and decorator Claudio Menconi, who appeared on UnoMattina Estate, hosted by Alessandro Greco.
Wearing the fresh Maestro outfit, consisting of a linen shirt and a 100% cotton apron, with faux-leather pockets for food-carving tools, the chef delighted the audience with his culinary creativity by presenting recipes that require no cooking.
He created three dishes: "marinated red beetroot cornet" filled with Apulian stracciatella, ricotta and zucchini; "bruschetta on a cheerful flower", made with carrots, cherry tomatoes, oregano and cucumber; and "fried egg with a tomato blot", made with Greek yogurt, honey, apricot and the "tomato", made with strawberries and sugar.
Fun ideas, too, for encouraging children to eat fruit and vegetables.
